Where We’re Located

Our guide school is based out of Two Rivers Fishing Company in Pinedale, Wyoming. Pinedale is nestled against the rugged wilderness of the magnificent Wind River Range—home to the headwaters of the famous Green River and the best trout fishing on the planet. The opportunity to fish these waters is coveted, and our summer season books out quickly.

Our diverse local waterways and private drift and wading access afford a range of technical challenges and trophy trout hunting.

See our Rivers section for more information.

How do I travel to Pinedale?2023-01-23T21:08:54+00:00

There are two popular options for flying into the area: Arrive at Salt Lake City International Airport and rent a car for a 4 1/2 hour drive to Pinedale. Alternately, fly into Jackson Hole Airport and rent a car for a 1 1/2 hour drive to Pinedale. *Driving times are approximate.

What about lodging while I’m attending class?2021-02-22T22:29:05+00:00

We have arranged for your lodging with a local innkeeper. Rooms are single occupancy with a private bath. The cost of lodging is included with the course tuition.

What about meals?2021-02-22T22:29:18+00:00

Tuition includes all breakfasts, lunches and three dinners. As an opportunity to network with your classmates and sample Pinedale’s local cuisine, we left three dinners up to you.

How many days of rowing instruction will I receive?2021-02-22T22:29:46+00:00

You’ll be on the water for 4 days. Each day builds on the previous day’s lesson and becomes more technical as the week progresses.

We dedicate a full day to cover the nuances of guiding walk/wade clients. The wade venues that we use will take place on one of our six private leases located on local ranches.

Five of our guides are proud veterans and look forward to welcoming all service veterans to our program. Unfortunately—pending a two-year process—we are not yet VA approved for the GI Bill.

I already have a drift boat. Can I bring it and use it in the class?2021-02-22T22:31:26+00:00

You will be using your instructor’s boat and riding in their tow vehicle to get to the day’s floating location. Do not bring your own drift boat.

Class size is capped to a maximum of ten students. We have one instructor for every two students. Students will rotate among the instructors to gain insight into different techniques and guiding styles.
