NOTICE: BROWN TROUT SPAWN. AVOID DISTURBING REDDS AND REPRODUCING FISH.
Well, it’s officially the last week of the season for Two Rivers Fishing Company. Don’t worry, though; all our inventory will be moved down the street to our sister store, Great Outdoor Shop, for the winter. On a separate note, the brown trout spawn is almost in full swing, so be sure to give way to reproducing fish. Streamer fishing is still productive, but nymphing for rainbows and cutthroat in holes downstream of spawning beds has become better by the day.

Recent Reports
Green River
The Green near town and south of Big Piney has proven very good for nymph tactics in some of the large, slow holes where rainbows and cutthroats wait for easy food. Streamers are still good on overcast, chilly days as well.

Flies to try
20-incher Stone, Slump Buster, Crossfit Midge
New Fork River
The New Fork has been great, with flows still higher than the average for this late in the fall. The spawn is almost fully in swing, and fish are aggressive. Streamers and nymphs are the usual suspects, especially on the smaller side. With the upcoming cold front, the remainder of browns in the system will likely be spawning, so please be courteous.

Flies to try
Wooly Bugger, DW Emerger, Naughty Bunny
Seedskadee
The Green below Fontenelle has certainly seen ups and downs this fall, but it appears to be acting like a fall tailwater once again. Small scuds, sow bugs and midges are still the top players, but leech fishing, both stripping and drifting, is great as well. Most moss is gone, and browns have begun to stage near beds below the dam.

Flies to try
Magma Mysis, BH Scud, Balanced Ruby-Eyed Leech
Bighorn River
The Bighorn near Thermopolis has been great lately, fishing well with a broad spectrum of flies and techniques. There are still small, sporadic hatches near town, but subsurface activity has become more commonplace with the shorter days.
CFS
Flies to try
Rusty Krystal Spinner, Galloup’s Jig BWO, McCune’s Sculpin
